About

Dr. David Nico is a certified wellness coach who will inspire you to live optimally by taking personal responsibility for your health. He frequently consults healthcare professionals to enhance their practices with programs to maximize their patient’s well being.

His passion for health started early and includes both triumph and tragedy. As a successful athlete and certified professional fitness trainer he served as the youngest strength coach for a nationally ranked NCAA team at age 21. During the peak of this experience, he incurred a devastating athletic injury and subsequent diagnosis of Kienboch’s Disease that caused tremendous pain to his extremities.

After five years of personal struggle with thoughts of giving up his health career, he was healed by his faith in God while applying biblically based scientific health principles. This emergence from discouragement has renewed his compassion to help others experience a lifestyle of health and healing.

He is founder of Nico Wellness which provides executive wellness consulting and educational services to individual clients and business entities. He partners with several companies including Designs for Health, which is a leading scientific nutrition research company. He has also taught on leadership as a former Adjunct Professor at Regent University.

He has a Ph.D. in holistic nutrition from the Clayton College of Natural Health. He has graduate degrees in entrepreneurship and e-business and has completed several doctoral courses in leadership studies from Regent University. He also has an undergraduate degree in marketing with exercise health science from Oral Roberts University.

For recreation he enjoys spending time with his wife and family. Above all, he is passionate about being a disciple of Jesus Christ and encouraging others to create a legacy of prosperity in spirit, soul, and body (III John 2).
